Kota Kinabalu: The Catholic Archdiocesan Centre (CAC) that will serve as the administrative centre of the Kota Kinabalu Archdiocese opened here, Saturday.
Located at Jalan Sang Kancil 3, Karamunsing, the RM9.5 million building replaced the Catholic Diocesan Centre (CDC) at Taman Hiburan in Penampang that had been in use since 1988 and is now used as a centre for priestly formation.
The CAC houses the offices of the Archbishop of Kota Kinabalu, various commissions within the Archdiocese as well as its archives.
