KOTA KINABALU: Former Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) Sabah Deputy President Datuk Robert Tawik (pic) has denied issuing any statement urging party members and supporters to continue backing Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).
He said the statement circulating online did not come from him and did not represent his personal or political position.
Robert described the claim as a political ploy aimed at undermining his credibility and confusing Star members as well as the public.
He urged the public to verify any information related to him through official channels before sharing it to avoid unnecessary confusion and political tension in Sabah.
He added that he is considering appropriate measures to prevent similar incidents and safeguard political integrity.
