Brendan Rodgers has criticised Leicester City's owners after Thursday's loss to Manchester United.
The defeat leaves Leicester rock bottom of the Premier League with one point from five games.
The Foxes have signed just one player this summer, and Rodgers isn't happy.
"With the greatest respect, we have not had the help in the market this team needed," Rodgers said. "But it is just a case of pushing on once this window closes. We just have to get the win, but if we show spirit and attitude I am sure it will come quickly.
On the transfer window, he added: "It has been a huge distraction. It is destabilizing for the group and the mentality, but these are a good bunch of guys. Once we get the win confidence will grow and they will be fine.
"In modern football there is no empathy, it is what it is. We want to be competitive and we were tonight, but not good enough to take something from the game."
