Amrit Lal Lubana posted 79 off 45 balls as Royal Titans piled up the highest total of the 4th Chandigarh Premier League on Thursday, marching to a commanding 36-run victory over the Rock Garden Warriors at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Sector 3, Panchkula.

Batting first, the Titans posted 215/5 in their 20 overs. Lubana remained unbeaten on 79 with 11 boundaries and two sixes. Markanday Panchal (37) and Sanchit Sahu (23) were the other two main scorers for the side. In reply, Warriors’ Aarush Bhandari posted 39 off 22 balls, while Prashant Ahlawat added 32. However, the middle-order collapsed as Abhishek Singh provided (57 off 27 balls) emerged as the lone main performer for the side at 179. Ivraj Ranauta was the leading wicket taker for the bowling side, claiming 3/22.

On Wednesday evening, HIIMS Hawks registered their second consecutive victory by defeating Tricity Bashers by 17 runs. Nikhil Thakur posted a stunning 76, leading Hawks to a total of 202/5. Skipper Manan Vohra (59) and Pratham Singh (33) were the other two scorers for the side. In reply, the Bashers’ batters fought hard through Hardik Chowdhry (76), but fell short and managed 185/8 in their 20-overt quota. Ishaan Garg claimed three crucial wickets for the bowling side.
