SHAH ALAM – Looking for a different way to spend your Saturday morning? Join Larian Warisan Alam, a 5km run through the paddy fields of Sabak Bernam, at Karnival Ban Canal 2026 on Nov 7.
The run starts at 7.30am at Jalan Parit 14, Sungai Besar, with registration costing RM14.90 per participant.
Along the route, participants can enjoy traditional kuih, fresh fruit and fruit drinks, while busking performances and kompang beats at several stops add to the experience.
Participants are also encouraged to wear farming- or fishing-inspired outfits, with RM150 cash prizes for the best-dressed adult man, adult woman and child in the open category.
There will also be more than 50 lucky draw prizes, including sports equipment, electrical appliances and other items.
Registration closes at 3pm on Nov 6, and interested participants can sign up for Larian Warisan Alam online at heyjom.com.
