Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Government has yet to receive any notification from the Federal Government on any postponement of allocation disbursement for development projects in the State, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
“I assured that we (the Sabah Government) will appeal to the Federal Government not to delay any development projects for Sabah, if such a decision is made,” he said at the State Legislative Assembly sitting, here, Monday.
He was responding to a supplementary question by Usukan assemblyman Datuk Seri Salleh Said Keruak during question time.
Salleh asked Hajiji whether the Sabah Government was informed about the Federal Government’s austerity drive by postponing or not continuing any project that has yet to commence to enable money to be channelled for the welfare of the people, apart from efforts toward the country's economic recovery.
