Kota Kinabalu: Sabah is an ideal investment hotspot for Chinese enterprises by virtue of its location which serves as an important node of China’s 21st Century Maritime Silk Road (MSR) initiative.
Disclosing this at the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China yesterday, the China Consul General in Kota Kinabalu said the future of cooperation and exchanges between Sabah and China would be brighter with the establishment of a comprehensive partnership between China and Asean.
Huang Shifang said deepening ties between the two countries would encourage more Chinese enterprises to come to Sabah for investment and business development, noting the fields of cooperation are expanding from tourism and infrastructure to high-end manufacturing industries.
