Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Maju Jaya Halatuju (SMJ Development Plan 1.0: 2021-2025) has produced positive results, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

To date, 20 MoUs or MoAs worth RM47.36 billion have been signed, including six MoUs or MoAs signed during the first year of the SMJ Halatuju with an investment value of RM19.9 billion in the Sipitang Oil and Gas Industrial Park (Sogip).

“Petronas will also increase its investment in Sogip through the construction of the first and largest offshore liquefied natural gas (ZLNG) plant in Sabah worth RM8.8 billion,” he said during question-and-answer session at the State Assembly.
