Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah International Expo 2026 (SIE2026) organising committee has expressed its appreciation to the Sabah Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) and its President, Datuk Dexter Lau, for securing nearly 30 booths and over 40 companies for the upcoming event.
Led by Co-Chairpersons Datuk Susan Chang and Natalie Fung, the committee conveyed their gratitude during a courtesy call on Lau, where they also briefed him on the latest preparations for the premier trade exhibition.
The substantial participation mobilised by MCCC Sabah marks one of the largest collective exhibitor groups set to showcase products and explore business connections at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) from Sept 4 to 6.
Organisers are expecting more than 30,000 visitors and delegates from 15 countries, alongside the Sabah International Business Luncheon Talk on Sept 3 featuring Sunway Group Founder Tan Sri Jeffrey Cheah as keynote speaker.
Lau commended co-organisers the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sabah and the Federation of Sabah Industries for promoting the state as a regional business hub, while the committee acknowledged his key role as a bridge for trade and investment links with China.
