Sabah PAS confident of clinching at least one seat this election

SABAH PAS Muslimat chief Norsah Bongsu is optimistic that the party will be able to create history in the upcoming State Election (PRN) by winning a seat for the first time in the state.

According to Norsah, the election victory is not just a political success, but rather an important platform to expand Islamic work in Sabah.

“We will break the egg in this PRN, God willing. With this election path, we will open a wider path for Islamic dakwah and politics in Sabah,” she said as reported.

Norsah also urged the party machinery to remain focused and work in an organized manner to ensure that PAS records better results in this election.

Meanwhile, Head of the Kalabakan PAS Muslimat Council, Wardah Jufri stressed that PAS does not only move on political grounds, but also as a missionary agent to convey the people's voice.

"Now we are in a field of struggle that requires unity and the strength of the machinery. We bring the message of missionary work and the people's voice as Islamic political agents to lead this state," she said.

Wardah also stressed the need for all machinery to strengthen the fighting spirit and play an active role in ensuring that the PAS agenda reaches the grassroots level. - October 13, 2025
