Kota Kinabalu: Sabah’s Covid-19 cases continued to dip to 135 on Friday from 154 the day earlier, while the percentage of sporadic infections also decreased to 64 per cent from 78 per cent.
Sabah’s Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said Kota Kinabalu topped the list with 56 cases, followed by Penampang (37), Sandakan (12) and Putatan (9).
“Overall, there were not that many changes except for a rise and fall in certain districts,” he said in a statement.
He said districts recording a decrease include Kota Kinabalu (-16), Kudat (-11) and Beaufort (-5), while those recording an increase are Putatan (+9) and Penampang (+8).
“Seven districts recorded a decrease while five recorded an increase. Fifteen districts did not record any new infections,” he added.
Masidi said 134 out of 135 cases were category one and two infections, while one case was recorded in category four.
No deaths or new clusters were identified.
