Kota Kinabalu: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim attended the Sabah State Government Dinner in conjunction with the Malaysia Agreement 1963 Implementation Action Council (MTPMA63) Meeting here on Thursday night.
His arrival at 7:50 pm was welcomed by Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
The event was also attended by Federal and state ministers, heads of state and Federal departments, and government-related agencies.
At the event, the Prime Minister and guests were entertained by traditional Sabah cultural dances before dinner was served, while also entertaining the guests at the event were local singers Azharina Azhar, Sumarli Loli, and Ryenald Guntabid.
Earlier, Anwar arrived in Sabah at 6:45 pm on Thursday in conjunction with a two-day working visit featuring several scheduled official programmes, including chairing the 2026 MTPMA63 Meeting on Friday.
He is scheduled to perform Friday prayers at the Kampung Likas Jamek Mosque before continuing his visit to the temporary evacuation centre for fire victims of Kampung Numbak at the Damai Multipurpose Hall at noon.
