In a significant initiative aimed at energising party workers and strengthening the grassroots network of the party, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Hoshiarpur constituency in-charge Sanjeev Talwar on Sunday launched a special campaign to instill renewed enthusiasm among party cadres.

Leading a large convoy of party leaders and workers, Talwar visited various wards and residences of supporters across the city. During the programme, SAD flags were installed atop the houses of party workers, symbolising their commitment and association with the party. Several veteran and committed workers who had rendered exemplary services to the party during challenging times were also honoured.

The convoy, accompanied by traditional drum beats, created a festive atmosphere wherever it reached, drawing enthusiastic participation from local residents and party supporters.

SAD urban district president Jatinder Singh Lally Bajwa lauded the initiative undertaken by Sanjeev Talwar. He said the programme would infuse fresh energy into the party ranks and further strengthen the bond between the leadership and grassroots workers.

“We are united and committed to hoisting the flag of SAD high in Hoshiarpur. Such initiatives will help reconnect with workers and reinforce the party’s organisational strength,” Bajwa said.

Addressing a gathering of party workers, Sanjeev Talwar emphasised the crucial role played by SAD workers in serving people. He said party workers earn respect and recognition through selfless service and dedication.

“Along with service to society, the installation of the party symbol on workers’ houses will further strengthen their identity and visibility,” Talwar said.

The initiative is being viewed as an effort by the Shiromani Akali Dal leadership to rejuvenate the party organisation at the grassroots level and acknowledge the contributions of its loyal workers ahead of future political challenges.
