Michel Salgado feels Gabri Veiga should choose Real Madrid when leaving Celta Vigo.
The former Spain fullback played for both clubs during his career.
He told Mundo Deportivo: "A boy who is capable of scoring eleven goals in the season of his debut in the Primera Division, has already shown me that he is prepared for the pressure of a big club because otherwise he would not be capable of doing it. But then you also have to see him there.
"What I've seen from Gabri Veiga on the field is spectacular, and that's what convinces me of him. That is why there are several teams willing to pay 40 million euros (his buyout clause).
"My advice is to see the opportune moment to make the leap, because that is what will make it possible for him to succeed.
"I'd rather see him in the shirt of Real Madrid than Napoli."
