PENAMPANG: Supt Sammy Newton has assumed the Penampang District Police Chief post.
The induction ceremony was conducted by Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun at the Sabah Contingent Police Headquarters.
Sammy had previously held the position of Deputy and Acting Police Chief of Penampang.
