SANDAKAN: Several houses in Kampung Garinono, here, were flooded on Tuesday following a heavy downpour since last night (Monday).
A Fire and Rescue Department team went to the scene to help evacuate several villagers.
District Fire and Rescue Station Chief Severinus Sainkui said, so far, four villagers had been evacuated, including an accident victim whose legs were injured.
They were transferred to a nearby temporary shelter.
