Hours after Jasvir Singh Garhi, chairman of the Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission, issued a notice to PPCC chief Raja Warring in connection with some derogatory remarks made with reference to the SC community in an audio clip, warring said it was a seven-year-old fake audio circulated on the day of polling.
Taking to X, Warring said, “Fake audio circulated nearly seven years ago as well is now being used through the SC Commission to target and defame me. Even a child can tell that the voice is not mine.”
He said, “Instead of taking action against fake propaganda and those spreading lies, @AAPPunjab is busy misusing institutions for political vendetta. This is nothing but desperate politics.”
Warring said legal action would be taken against everyone involved in spreading and using this fabricated content.
In addition to Warring, the SSP of Sri Muktsar Sahib has been directed to appear on May 29 with a response.
