Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce kicked off their wedding celebrations on Thursday evening, with celebrity guests including Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, and Jack Antonoff spotted arriving at Madison Square Garden in New York for the couple’s rehearsal dinner.
The dinner, held inside Madison Square Garden’s Infosys Theater, was scheduled to run from 6pm to 10.30pm and host about 100 guests, according to CBS News, citing two law enforcement sources familiar with security planning.
Friday’s main celebration is expected to draw around 1,000 guests, with about 135 New York police officers assigned across both days and roughly 500 vehicles due to transport guests to the venue.

Swift and Kelce have kept their wedding plans largely private since announcing their engagement in August 2025, but speculation intensified this week after trucks carrying staging equipment and decorations were seen outside Madison Square Garden.
Among the first guests to arrive was Antonoff, Swift’s longtime collaborator and one of the key producers behind albums including Folklore and Midnights. The 42-year-old musician was photographed heading to the venue in a suit alongside his sister, fashion designer Rachel Antonoff, who wore a pink feathered dress, according to People.
Lena Dunham, Antonoff’s former partner and a friend of Swift’s, was also seen arriving at the venue.
Several of Swift’s close friends were also among guests heading to the rehearsal dinner.
Abigail Anderson, one of the singer’s oldest friends, was seen arriving at the venue. Swift’s publicist Tree Paine and Ashley Avignone, a close friend from Swift’s New York circle, were also among those attending, according to Page Six.
Hadid and Cooper were photographed travelling to Madison Square Garden in the same vehicle, according to the outlet. The outlet reported that Hadid was seated in the back of a grey SUV, while Avignone occupied the front passenger seat.
Cooper was photographed outside the vehicle in a suit and waistcoat before heading to the venue.
Several figures from Kelce’s professional circle were also among the guests, including sports broadcasters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson.
In 2023, Andrews and Thompson encouraged Swift to date Kelce on their Calm Down podcast, shortly after Kelce said on his New Heights podcast that he had tried and failed to give Swift a friendship bracelet bearing his phone number during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City.
Among Kelce’s oldest friends was Aric Jones, who has known the NFL star since childhood in Cleveland Heights, Ohio and has remained part of his close circle over the years. Also spotted at the rehearsal dinner was Greg Olsen, the former NFL tight end turned broadcaster, who had jokingly lobbied for an invitation during a January episode of New Heights.
Kelce’s mother, Donna Kelce, was photographed arriving in New York earlier in the day.
Selena Gomez was also among those attending, sharing an Instagram Story of herself dressed for the evening while purportedly travelling by car to Madison Square Garden.
According to a representative, Swift and Kelce donated $26m to at least 20 charities across the US, including Feeding America, ASPCA, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in the days leading up to their wedding.
At MSG, workers have been seen moving large props, including a grand piano, tree branches and carpeting into the arena. Boxes labeled “garden party” and “GAZ” – thought to be short for gazebo – were spotted being carted into the venue.
The wedding guest list is said to include a number of celebrities.
TV presenter Graham Norton and actor Phoebe Waller-Bridge were spotted arriving in the city ahead of the ceremony. Plus, Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw are expected to perform at the wedding.
Guests were reportedly made to sign an electronic non-disclosure agreement, according to TMZ. Multiple outlets have reported that the wedding venue has been kept a secret from attendees ahead of time, and that the invitations only listed New York City as the location.
People reported that attendees will be asked to give up their phones at the wedding, which reportedly has a black-tie dress code.
