MUAR - A 76-year-old man was found dead inside a house which was locked in Taman Perdana, here, yesterday.
Muar Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) senior operations commander II Mohd Azhar Khalil said a distress call was received at about 11pm.
Four firemen were then rushed to the scene in a four-wheel drive utility.
"Upon arrival, the elderly man was found inside the locked house.
“Firefighters then cut off the door lock using a special circular saw tool," he said in a statement, today.
He said a medical officer had confirmed the victim's death and the case was handed over to the police.
