However, Shafie said that the matter would be considered.
"He showed his desire to join Warisan. I said it's up to him.
"I also said earlier that the people of Sabah must unite regardless of who they are. We are the opposition party, we have nothing to offer him, he is not a minister, (but) he is an assistant minister.
"We cannot give the position of the minister but if he prioritises the interests of the people, he could join us," he told reporters at the Majlis Pemimpin Bersama Rakyat Parlimen Putatan here, on Sunday night.
