
Shah Alam police are tracking individuals who fired fireworks from a moving car’s sunroof, with the dangerous stunt captured in a viral video
SHAH ALAM: Police are hunting several individuals suspected of dangerously setting off fireworks from the sunroof of a moving car.
The incident, captured in a 50-second viral video, occurred at night in the Elmina Rainforest area along Persiaran Ficus, Section U15.
Shah Alam police chief ACP Ramsay Embol said a report was lodged today after the footage circulated widely.
He confirmed the video shows a male suspect firing several rounds of fireworks into the air while standing through the car’s sunroof.
The vehicle is believed to have been driven by another individual during the reckless act.
The case is being investigated under Section 286 of the Penal Code for negligent conduct with explosive substances.
It is also being probed under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 for improper use of network facilities.
