PUTATAN: P-hailing motorcycle riders have been urged to prioritise road safety as demand for delivery services rises ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festive season.
Putatan MP Datuk Ir Shahelmey Yahya said riders should remain cautious on the road while working to meet increasing customer orders during the festive period.
“During the Aidilfitri season, P-hailing riders will be busy delivering food and other items ordered by customers, but safety must remain the priority,” he said.
Shahelmey said this after attending the Jom Balik Raya programme with P-hailing riders at the Petronas station along Jalan Mat Salleh in Tanjung Aru.
He also presented petrol vouchers to riders from the Putatan parliamentary constituency and personally helped refuel their motorcycles during the programme.
