Shakey’s partners with workplace platform

SHAKEY'S Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. (Spavi) has partnered with workplace platform Lark to accelerate its digital transformation and improve operational efficiency across its restaurant network.

The listed food service group on Thursday said the partnership would integrate Lark as a central platform linking its corporate headquarters with store operations and support teams.

Shakey’s President and CEO Vicente Gregorio said the move was part of the company’s broader push to modernize its systems and empower employees.

“At Spavi, operational excellence starts with empowering our people through the right tools and systems. We hope that the partnership ... will enable us to create a more connected, agile, and digitally-enabled organization,” Gregorio said.

Under the initiative, the company will roll out digital tools for real-time customer feedback management, allowing issues raised by diners to be escalated and resolved immediately instead of over several days.

The system will also be used to digitize quality control and compliance monitoring across stores.

Lark General Manager for Asia-Pacific Mark Dembitz said Shakey’s scale and established brand made it a strong partner for digital transformation efforts in the region.

“Our partnership ... represents an important step in Lark’s mission to support the digital transformation of leading food and beverage brands in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia,” he said.

Shakey's shares rose P0.26, or 4.05 percent, to close at P6.68 each on Thursday. NAZYLEN JOY MABANGLO
