He said it is a first-time award by Shareda to appreciate the winner’s contribution and achievement in the property industry.

“The night of harmony (event) will be full of joy and we want all stakeholders to forget about businesses for a night and have fun and enjoy the musical performances from local artistes.
“We get together, know each other better and have good collaboration between the public and private sectors so as to move forward in togetherness as Sabah has faced a change of governments in four years at national and state level, including a change of the Prime Minister and also in Sabah.
“That’s why we want to get everybody back together and move forward which is very important to make sure that development is a priority where property development and construction are contributing some RM1 or RM2 billion a year, or about 20 per cent of the Gross Domestic Products (GDP) of Sabah,” he said.
He said it is important for the industry to have a good harmony together with the stakeholders so that these efforts come together towards delivering good products.
Meanwhile, Organising Chairman of Shareda Nite 2023 Raymond Xavier Chan Yin Hong said Top Property Man of the Year 2023 winner will bring home a exclusive collectible trophy.
He said there will be about over 10 awards under various categories as Shareda has its own standard to evaluate awards on certain criteria based on its internal assessment.
He said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor is expected to officiate the event.
He said the Shareda Nite 2023 will feature a total of 50 local artistes.
“It took me two years to identify these local artistes to perform and entertain over 1,000 people.”
According to him, a multiple award winning local choir group known as Male-Efficient who bagged two gold medals in the 12th World Choir Games in South Korea in July will be performing at the Shareda Nite 2023 as well as the Malaysia’s Fastest Drummer Raymond Goh and the Legato Music Team.
