Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer was impressed by his team's resilience last night.
The Magpies have endured a tough start to the Premier League season, already losing three games.
However, they were closer to their battling best in a 0-0 draw against AC Milan at the San Siro in Italy in the Champions League group stages.
Post-game, Shearer expressed his delight on the platform X.
"Take a point all day," Shearer tweeted.
"[Newcastle] Worked their nuts off. Good job Milan had nothing up front."
The Magpies next take on Paris Saint-Germain at home on October the 4th.
