
As many as 155 students, faculty and non-teaching staff of Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla, were provided with free dental check-up and consultation at a camp organised on the campus by the in-house Rotaract Club. The camp was conducted in collaboration with Government Dental College, Shimla, with the objective of promoting oral healthcare awareness and providing free dental check-up to the students and staff members of the university. The Rotaract, Shimla Midtown, supported the camp while Harvinder Singh Kwatra and his dedicated team played an important role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the programme.
Priti Saxena, Vice-Chancellor of the law university, said that the initiative proved to be a meaningful step towards promoting healthcare awareness, community service and social responsibility on the campus. “The collaborative effort contributed towards creating awareness regarding oral hygiene and preventive dental care among the university community,” she added.
