Students of Shivalik International Convent School, Nangal Chowk, were made aware of the precautions to be taken during the summer season and the increasing heatwave during the morning assembly. Managing Director of the school Malkiat Singh Rana provided detailed information about the necessary measures to stay safe and healthy during extreme summer conditions. Addressing the students, Rana advised them to drink plenty of water, cover their heads while going out in the sun, wear light cotton clothes, and consume fresh fruits and nutritious food. He emphasised that students should avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight during peak hours and regularly consume water and other fluids to prevent dehydration. He also cautioned the students about heatstroke, dehydration and other heat-related health issues, encouraging them to remain vigilant about their health and well-being. The students listened attentively to the valuable suggestions and pledged to follow them in their daily lives. The awareness programme organised by the school proved to be an important initiative in motivating students to stay safe and healthy during the summer season. The school management also urged all students to strictly follow heat-safety measures and take proper care of their health during the hot weather.
