The Anti-Corruption Bureau, Hisar, has arrested Kamlesh, SHO of the Women Police Station, Bhiwani, for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 7,000.
A case has been registered against the accused under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
According to available information, a complaint was submitted to the ACB that Inspector Kamlesh had allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs 7,000 for facilitating compromise and providing relief in a case registered at the Women Police Station in Bhiwani.
The ACB team laid a trap and arrested the SHO.
