
MANILA, Philippines — Six out of 10 Filipinos continue to express trust and satisfaction with the Philippine National Police, according to an independent survey conducted by OCTA Research.
In its Tugon ng Masa poll conducted from March 19-25, 2026, 63 percent expressed trust to the PNP, while 61 percent said that they were satisfied with the PNP's job in the first quarter of 2026.
The PNP is most trusted in Mindanao at 74 percent, followed by the Visayas region at 66 percent, Balanced Luzon at 59 percent, and the National Capital Region at 54 percent.
Mindanao respondents were also the highest among those who were satisfied with the performance of the PNP at 69 percent, followed by Visayas at 63 percent, Balanced Luzon at 59 percent and NCR at 52 percent.
The survey had 1,200 respondents and a margin of error of plus or minus three percent.
