Skip Bayless reacts to Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos split
Skip Bayless discussed the news of Dak Prescott and Sarah Jane Ramos splitting shortly before their expected wedding on The Skip Bayless Show.
Reports suggested the separation happened amicably, with both sides choosing to move forward while still planning to co-parent their young daughters.
Bayless explained that he was surprised the relationship ended despite there reportedly being no major incident behind the decision.
“I read they had no problem. There was no big blowout, and nothing happened. They just both decided it wasn’t going to work.
“But they’re going to co-parent. … For the sake of those two very young girls, I hope they get back together,” Bayless said.
Prescott and Ramos share two daughters, which Bayless referenced while discussing the situation and the possibility that the pair could reconnect in the future.
Skip Bayless compares the Dak Prescott situation to the Matthew Stafford family
While discussing Prescott’s situation, Bayless pointed to Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford as an example of the type of family stability he believes teams ideally want around their franchise quarterback.
“Theoretically, you want your quarterback to be like Matthew Stafford. They’ve got the four girls, and he took them up on the stage. They all had matching long dresses on. It was very cute,” Bayless stated.
Bayless referenced the moment from the Rams’ Super Bowl celebration when Stafford brought his daughters on stage alongside him.
The analyst used that example to highlight the image of a quarterback whose personal life appears stable while balancing the pressure of leading an NFL franchise.
Prescott, meanwhile, remains one of the NFL’s most prominent quarterbacks as he continues leading the Dallas Cowboys into another season with high expectations.
