PSV Eindhoven winger Cody Gakpo is sorry missing a move to Manchester United.
Gakpo is 'disappointed' that United withdrew their interest in him to focus on signing Ajax forward Antony.
Sky Sports' Rob Dorsett is reporting Southampton have had a £21m bid for Gakpo rejected, with the Dutch side holding out for a bid around £25m for the 23-year-old.
United reached agreement with Ajax for the transfer of Antony on Tuesday, and it appears that Erik ten Hag's interest in Gakpo has now cooled.
Gakpo is prepared to leave PSV this week.
