
PENAMPANG: On projects for Penampang, Ewon said he is pushing to put several vital proposed projects such as building a specialist hospital, a new primary school and upgrading some roads here to be placed under the 13th Malaysia Plan, which already part of the Penampang Development Plan 2024 – 2035.
“As the people’s elected representative and Member of Parliament for Penampang, it is my responsibility to bring forward these proposals from the people.
Advertisement“That is why I want the municipal council members and all of us to first resolve the fundamental issues—identifying sites, addressing technical issues and handling utility construction matters. These must be resolved in advance and gazetted for public projects.
“Only then can we include them in the RMK-13 proposals. However, in principle, this is what I aim to prioritise, alongside resolving previously approved projects that have yet to commence,” he said.
