Kota Kinabalu: The public is urged to stay vigilant amid a smear campaign allegedly targeting the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government and Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) Deputy President Datuk Dr Yee Moh Chai said the attacks are orchestrated by the opposition, in collaboration with political “hangers-on,” aiming to destabilise the current administration and sway voters ahead of the coming Sabah state election.

“They will keep harping on water and power issues to win over voters who will soon decide who should govern Sabah for the next five years,” he said.

“They are hopelessly naive if they think such slanderous tactics will work on discerning voters.
