
SEMPORNA: The Fire and Rescue personnel were called in to the Semporna Hospital to provide assistance in cutting off a metal ring that stuck on the finger of a five-year-old girl on Monday.
The State Fire and Rescue Department spokesperson said the department received a call at 1.12pm and rushed to the hospital.
Upon arrival, the team found the metal ring stuck on the girl’s middle finger.
The team used specialised tools to cut off the metal ring and ended the operation at 1.33pm.
