
Inter-school literary events and art activities for seniors and juniors (2026-27) were organised by schools under HP Zone-D of DAV Institutions to promote overall development of students. As part of the programme, competitions such as debate, declamation, quiz, and various art and craft activities were conducted for the junior wing of Bhagirathi Das DAV Senior Secondary Public School, Dharamsala. In the English debate, Pushti Sethi of DAV Dharamsala secured the first place, Arhana Bhatia of DAV Palampur stood second, while Palash Dhadwal of DAV Dehra came third. In English declamation, Arsh Thakur of DAV Kangoo won first place, followed by Vedika Kapoor of DAV Narwana in second place and Shreyasi Singh of DAV Bharoli in third place. In the quiz competition, DAV Kangoo secured the first position, DAV Dehra came second, while DAV Bharoli secured the third position. Among the art and craft events, Anjal Thakur of DAV Palampur secured first place in card making, while Preeti Sharma of DAV Dharamsala and Jaimini of DAV Narwana secured second and third places, respectively. In sketching, Aarav Kapoor of DAV Dharamsala won the first place, Vaishnavi Thakur of DAV Kangoo secured the second place, while Piyush Chauhan of DAV Dharamsala stood third. In poster making, Divyanshi Dhiman of DAV Dharamsala came first, followed by Purvi Thakur of DAV Palampur in second place and Shruti Sood of DAV Bharoli in third place. In cartoon drawing, Shrika Verma of DAV Kangoo emerged as the winner. In the Hindi debate competition, Suryansh Mankotia of DAV Bharoli secured the first position, Samera Sarmai of DAV Dehra stood second, while Srishti Bhardwaj of DAV Bharoli secured the third place. In Hindi declamation, Manan of DAV Dehra won the first place, Shreya of DAV Bharoli secured the second place, while Anvi Sharma of DAV Narwana stood third. The School Principal and HP Zone-D Cluster Head, Dr Vipin Jistu, motivated and encouraged all participants through his inspiring address. The ARO of HP Zone-D, VK Yadav, congratulated the winners and participants on their achievements and wished them success in their future endeavours.
