Kota Kinabalu: The Subsidiary Title Owners and Purchasers Association of Sabah (STOPS) have questioned the delay in gazetting the long-awaited KK Masterplan that is meant to ensure proper orderly planning and layout zones, among others.

“Otherwise ad hoc decisions on project developments will be as erratic or unpredictable based on the whims and fancies of those holding public office,” said James Lim, a member.

For instance, he said, coastal reclamation was supposed to be disallowed. “But now buyers of Jesselton Residences will likely get their clear sea and sunset view blocked by new condominiums to be built on the reclaimed site.”
