MANILA, Philippines — South Korean stars T.O.P and Nana are dating, their agencies confirmed Friday after Dispatch reported that the pair had grown closer following their work together on T.O.P's music video.
According to multiple reports from Korean media, T.O.P, whose real name is Choi Seung-hyun, and Nana, whose real name is Im Jin-ah, began dating around June after first meeting while filming the music video for T.O.P's solo track “Totally Crazy!” The agencies confirmed the relationship after Dispatch published its report on Oct. 2.
T.O.P's agency, Topspot Pictures, said the two “first met through the filming of his music video,” grew closer and “developed a romantic relationship around June.” Nana's agency, Sublime, similarly confirmed that they “formed a connection through the music video filming” and are “currently in a good relationship.”
The confirmation followed a Dispatch report that detailed the pair's meetings around Achiul Village in Guri, Gyeonggi Province, where Nana reportedly lives. Dispatch also released photos of the two spending time together, including a stop at a convenience store. T.O.P was photographed wearing a hat, while Nana wore a face mask.
According to the Korean reports, the two met in January when Nana appeared in T.O.P's music video for “Studio54,” one of the tracks from his first full-length solo album, “Another Dimension.” T.O.P reportedly reached out to Nana and asked her to appear in the video.
Their professional collaboration continued in April, when Nana appeared in promotional content for T.O.P's music. Dispatch reported that they continued communicating after their projects together before their relationship became romantic around June.
Despite their schedules, Korean media reported that the two continued to make time for each other. Dispatch reported that they met repeatedly around the end of September and the beginning of October, including shortly before Nana traveled to Milan Fashion Week.
T.O.P, 38, debuted as a member of Bigbang in 2006 before pursuing acting. He left the group in 2023 and returned to acting in Netflix's “Squid Game” Season 2 in 2024. He released his first full-length solo album, “Another Dimension,” in April.
Nana, 35, debuted with girl group After School in 2009 before going into acting. She made her acting debut in “The Good Wife” and later appeared in projects including “Mask Girl” and Netflix's “The Scandal.”
