Dana White’s move into boxing with Zuffa Boxing has already made him one of the sport’s most divisive power brokers.

White has pushed a model he says would let fighters choose between the existing Muhammad Ali Act structure and Zuffa’s own system, but critics fear greater promoter control.

Teofimo Lopez has now become one of the loudest boxing names pushing back against the 56-year-old businessman, and his latest anger came after Adin Ross’ Brand Risk broadcast.

Lopez responded to an X post showing him being ignored by White and Hunter Campbell during Ross’ stream last weekend, and he did not hide his frustration.

The words carry weight because Lopez is not just another critic. He is a former unified lightweight champion and a two-weight world champion with major wins behind him.

He wrote: “It shows how much they care about us combat fighters/champions! Don’t tell me it’s business, nothing personal, when our business is personal.”

Lopez then tagged Golden Gloves of America, USA Boxing and the Olympics, adding: “Parents, is this what you are supposed to be okay with if this happened to your son or daughter?”

The moment also felt sharper because Lopez was seen alongside White and Campbell at a Brand Risk event last year, when Turki Alalshikh publicly told him to “go train.”

That made this apparent snub look like a major shift in tone. Lopez once appeared close enough to be part of the same scene, but now things have changed.
