Head coach Mike Brown was in good spirits during the New York Knicks’ title parade on Thursday afternoon.

Brown led the Knicks to their first NBA championship in 53 years with a record-breaking playoff run.

They dominated every series, including their gentleman’s sweep over the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals.

The Knicks players and coaches had every right to celebrate their achievement properly, and it appears they have.

Brown wore a shirt with a hilarious reference that summed up the celebratory mood at the Knicks’ title parade.

What did Mike Brown’s ’10 weeks’ t-shirt actually mean?

Knicks owner James Dolan made some unusual comments about the sacrifices needed to win at the highest level.

Dolan discussed practice, sleep schedules and eating habits, but he really raised eyebrows with another idea.

“Maybe you should give up sex for the next 10 weeks,” Dolan suggested, as it may give the players an ‘edge’.

He admitted it was only a joke, but his wider point about sacrificing things to win an NBA title was genuine.

Whether the Knicks players and coaches took Dolan’s advice will probably never become public knowledge.

All we know is that Brown saw the funny side to Dolan’s ‘10 weeks’ comment, wearing a custom-made shirt at the parade.

It was a hilarious gesture from the head coach on a special occasion for everyone associated with the Knicks.

It was also just one of many highlights from the Knicks celebrations, some involving players, celebrities and regular fans.

It has been an amazing few months for the Knicks; the only negative is that this chapter has come to an end.
