It’s safe to say that Seth Rollins is one of the biggest names currently in the WWE after some memorable runs over the past decade.
Rollins has built himself up to be one of the best wrestlers in the entire world while his multiple character variations over the years have nearly always resulted in success.
Of course, Rollins has carried the baton for WWE during a time when they’ve very much been searching for the next John Cena. Cena was the dominant figure from the early 2000s onwards but since his move to part-time and eventual retirement, multiple stars have tried to fill the void.
Cena, obviously, spent his entire career as a ‘babyface’ until a late run as a heel saw him quickly turn back face before he left the company.
And it is because of that babyface run that Rollins believes he’s so different to Cena.

Seth Rollins says he’ll always be a better heel than babyface
Rollins is often good for a quote or two in the modern era given his popularity and the in-demand nature of his stardom.
Now, speaking about his current run in WWE where’s mainly portrayed as a good guy, Rollins has admitted it’s likely to be short-lived.
“The truth is I’m not very good at being the hero,” Rollins told ESPN.
“I can do it in short spurts, but I’m not like (John) Cena, I’m not like Rey Mysterio. I get bored of myself and I think people get bored of me. I much prefer being a bad guy. I think it suits me better.
“Most of my favorite moments are being a piece of trash.”

Rollins is currently involved in a feud with The Vision, Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker. Many expect this storyline to culminate at SummerSlam, albeit multiple injuries ever since the story began have hampered efforts from everyone involved.
Logan Paul is currently injured, placing further strain on any potential stories, while Rollins himself has had different injuries he has to be careful with.
As for Rollins, we can expect him to go back to being that hated bad guy at some point. Ultimately, it just never feels quite right with him unless he’s being a pesky heel.
