
LAHAD DATU: A morning fire destroyed three double storey houses in Taman Warisan, Jalan Tengah Nipah, here, on Thursday.
District Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Sumsoa Rashid said, his department received a distress call about the incident at 7.02 am via MERS999.
Twenty-one firefighters from Lahad Datu Fire and Rescue Station rushed to the scene in a fire engine, EMRS vehicle and a Four-Wheel-Drive (4WD).
Upon arrival, the team led by Sumsoa found three houses involved in the incident with of them destroyed, while the other two suffered 30 per cent damage.

“There was no casualty while the cause of fire and losses are being investigated,” he added.
