
Kota Kinabalu: Three men were injured when a Perodua Myvi and Toyota Hilux collided at Lorong Iramanis Centre, Kolombong, Inanam, early Saturday.
The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 3.39am and dispatched 10 personnel from the Lintas Fire and Rescue Station to the scene.
The three men, aged 23, 35 and 38, who were in the Myvi, sustained injuries to the face, head and hand, respectively, and were extricated by firefighters using specialised equipment.
They received initial treatment from the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital II for further treatment, while the adult male driver of the Hilux was unhurt.
The operation, led by PBK I Mohd Hanafiah, also involved police and Health Ministry personnel and ended at 4.20am after the scene was declared safe.
