Tom Cruise reveals what Taylor Swift said to him at Chiefs game after skipping Emmys

Tom Cruise revealed what he and Taylor Swift were chatting about while watching the Kansas City Chiefs game.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Top Gun: Maverick actor said the pop star was “schooling me on football”.

Cruise also revealed that Swift knew nothing about the sport when she first met her husband, NFL star Travis Kelce.

“ But now she's telling you what's up and knowing the plays”, said host Jimmy Fallon.

Swift returned to Arrowhead Stadium on Monday (14 September) night, joining Cruise in the stands to watch Kelce and the Chiefs kick off the NFL season.

The 14-time Grammy Award winner skipped the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles that night. Instead, she made a surprise appearance during the ceremony in a pre-recorded video.
