Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to sign a mystery forward in the coming weeks.
The London club were rejected in their pursuit for Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma.
The Italian capital club's manager Jose Mourinho decided to retain Zaniolo for this season.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Spurs were very close to a loan with an obligation to buy, but the deal did not materialize.
Now Sky Sports suggests they are turning their attention to another forward.
However, they could not reveal the identity of the player, which makes it seem as though the move may not be too advanced.
