Ousmane Dembele is preparing for his own Chelsea rematch.
Ousmane Dembele will be looking to make a statement when Paris Saint-Germain face Chelsea in the Champions League this week.
He wasn’t involved last time these sides met, which ended in a 3-0 win for Chelsea in the Club World Cup final.
Dembele had a forgettable night, and two particular stats from that game stand out ahead of this week’s fixture.
Dembele failed to make an impact in the Club World Cup final

Dembele had been in excellent form that season, scoring 35 goals in 53 games for PSG after moving into a centre-forward role. But he struggled to make an impact against Chelsea, managing just one shot and failing to complete a single dribble.
Chelsea supporters would love to see another quiet outing from Dembele when the sides meet again at Parc des Princes. But on home soil, he’s expected to be more involved this time around.
In contrast, Robert Sanchez was solid for Chelsea in that final. But there’s no guarantee he’ll start this one, having lost his place to Filip Jorgensen in recent Premier League matches.
PSG’s biggest threat after Ousmane Dembele
Chelsea cannot spend the whole tie worrying about Dembele. Luis Enrique has other exciting attackers, such as Bradley Barcola and Desire Doue.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is another forward to keep an eye on. The winger is a real menace when he cuts in from the left and lets fly with a shot.
He can cause defenders real problems with his dribbling, though Reece James won’t be an easy challenge for him if the Chelsea captain lines up at right-back.
Chelsea, of course, have threats of their own. Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro will be the key players over these two legs.
