
BELURAN: Police arrested two foreigners suspected of armed robbery near Maxland Estate, Tongod, on Wednesday.
Beluran District Police Chief Supt Hasan Majid said the suspects were wanted for armed robbery on Feb 1 that left two victims seriously injured.
AdvertisementThe manhunt involved extensive searches across villages, plantation workers' housing and estate grounds.
Local residents were enlisted to assist in tracking down the suspects by providing intelligence to law enforcement.

The case concluded successfully with the arrests. He said the suspects were remanded since Thursday as investigations continued.
