Tenom: Two semi-permanent houses were destroyed in two fires here and Keningau on Thursday and Wednesday respectively.

A semi-permanent house in Kampung Sri Menanti here was razed on Thursday evening.

The extinguishing operation was carried out using water from the fire engine.

In Keningau, a one-storey semi-permanent house in Kampung Kauran was destroyed in a fire Wednesday morning.

Firemen used water source from machinery and a water tanker to extinguish a fire. The operation ended at 7.06am.
