TAWAU: Two men sustained minor injuries in a collision involving a Proton Saga and a motorcycle on Jalan Kuhara early Sunday.
District Fire and Rescue Station chief Jemishin Ujin said the 37-year-old car driver and the 33-year-old motorcyclist declined hospital treatment after receiving first aid from the emergency medical rescue services (EMRS) team and Health Ministry medics.
The emergency call was received at 3.26 am via Mers999, with firefighters arriving within two minutes.
"A team of eight personnel with two fire engines was deployed for the rescue operation," he said.
The operation concluded at 3.40am after ensuring no further hazards at the scene.
