KOTA KINABALU: Two suffered injuries in a collision involving a trailer lorry and a Nissan Urvan at Jalan Lintas near RTM early Wednesday morning.
The 32-year-old male driver was trapped in the Nissan Urvan and later freed by firefighters, sustaining a broken leg, while the 61-year-old female passenger suffered minor injuries.
The emergency call was received at 5.16am, with the Fire and Rescue Department arriving at 5.23am.
Both victims were handed over to the Health Ministry for further treatment, while firefighters ensured no additional hazards at the scene before ending operations at 6.32am.
