KUNAK: A collision involving three vehicles along the Tawau-Kunak Road on Saturday afternoon claimed two lives, including that of a Toyota Hilux driver who later died while receiving treatment at Kunak Hospital.
Sources said the female Hilux driver was thrown out of her vehicle during the crash, which occurred near a section of the Pan Borneo Highway currently under construction.
A male driver of a three-tonne pickup truck was pinned inside his wrecked vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
